Kiln Cooling

The kiln is cooling with new pieces in it. I will be opening it later today I wonder what wonders await me inside. It is always like Christmas morning opening the kiln. There is a lot of excitement around here.

I wish I had pottery makings here...I took it a couple of years ago and loved it...the best was finding out what all of those greyish glazes turned into after the fire....hmmmm a bit of a metaphor isn't it? :)

There is a potter in bethany that does lessons. It is called Green Heron Pottery and it is where I did my apprenticeship. Edwin is a great teacher! I am not too sure how far that is from you.
