March

March...
It has always been a really strange and crazy kind of month for me.  It is my birthday month and the strangest things always seem to happen at this time.
Last year I got a bad case of Mastitis and had to have surgery to have the infection removed.
The year before that Lily was born 2 hours after my birthday.
The year prior to that I changed all our plans and decided that I wanted to have another baby. (Hence Lily 12 months later)

I always go into March with the Lion and Lamb theory.  I am excited for the newness of Spring that seems so much more possible as well as the celebration of my Birthday.  Then I am always apprehensive of the Lion laying in wait, ready to pounce at any time, creating craziness and throwing my world into a spin.

This year by the end of March I will have turned 30, I will finally be in my third trimester, my little snap dragon will have turned 2, and I will be two weeks away from closing the studio.  All beautiful and amazing steps forward, but I will be keeping my eyes out for the Lion in the tall grass.
